Hack4Hope

Hack4Hope is a youth-centered, justice-driven hackathon and creative jam hosted by ACS@USC and the ACS CAN California Society of Emerging Leaders (SEL).

This event brings together students, young leaders, designers, coders, storytellers, activists, and creators to build projects that transform how we advocate for cancer care and health equity.

Hack4Hope is not just about technology —
it’s about people, policy, and hope.

Participants work in teams to design tools, campaigns, stories, games, and systems that improve how communities understand cancer-related legislation, access care, and take action. Whether through interactive policy tools, data visualizations, storytelling platforms, or creative prototypes, teams explore how design, emotion, and imagination can spark real change.

Hack4Hope is a space where young people rewrite what advocacy can look like — grounded in compassion, creativity, and community power.
